Scott Kovacevic is a senior journalist, graduating with honours from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Theatre, a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours and a Master of Arts in Journalism. He now specialises in business, property and council reporting. Scott has played a pivotal role in exposing the devastating impact of collapsed businesses such as Stirling Homes and Ri-Con on local sub contractors and suppliers, helping put pressure on our lawmakers to change the law and give small businesses like our local subcontractors more protection. His analysis and investigative reporting on the Gympie Regional Council leading up to and following the 2020 local government election was relentless and illuminating, bringing about a shift in local politics that Scott continues to follow closely and report on.
