Peter Gardiner is a Noosa-based reporter for the Sunshine Coast Daily. He has been reporting on the Sunshine Coast for the past 28 years after serving his cadetship at the Queensland Times in Ipswich going becoming sports editor and covering the 1982 Brisbane Commonwealth Games and working at The Examiner in Launceston. He has worked extensively in local politics and covered Noosa Council for more than two decades including the momentous de-amalgamation battle and loves covering a good community stoush.
