Tonightly’s hilarious parody of Shannon Noll’s viral F-bomb rant

SHANNON Noll’s shocking onstage rant made headlines yesterday — now it has its very own parody tribute video, courtesy of ABC comedy show Tonightly.

“F***ING private school stupid f***head motherf***er. Have some balls and get up here and I’ll punch your f***ing teeth down your throat … then I’ll f**k your missus and your mum.”

With those words, screamed at the audience while performing at the Duck Creek Picnic Races in Nyngan, NSW, Shannon Noll found himself at the centre of a media firestorm yesterday.

Few could begrudge the Australian Idol and I’m A Celeb runner-up from losing his cool after a reveller threw a full beer can at the stage, narrowly missing his head — but had Noll crossed a line with his shocking threats about the fan’s “missus and mum”?

He’s Shannon. Shannon bloody Noll.

The singer’s outburst was debated by the panel on last night’s episode of The Project, and here on news.com.au, with writer Matilda Dixon-Smith slamming his “vile display of machismo”.

Amid the serious debate, some lightness: ABC comedy current affairs show Tonightly set the full transcript of Noll’s onstage rant to the tune — and the oh-so-Aussie music video — of his 2004 debut single, What About Me.

“Turns out, Shannon Noll’s meltdown was actually just him practising the lyrics for his new single, Which Prick Threw That?” Tonightly said in a Facebook post “premiering” the video.
