The popular US singer and her new partner have been caught on camera engaging in rather bizarre behaviour in Bondi.

The US singer, 21, and her new love interest, local actor Kath Ebbs, 27, enjoyed a morning out in the eastern suburbs, with a photographer capturing their rather odd act in the middle of the street.

At one point, Ebbs could be seen pretending to hold a leash while Siwa crawled on all fours across a pedestrian crossing. Read: Siwa pretended to be a dog.

Elsewhere, the loved-up pair were seen laughing and joking as they enjoyed a sunny morning in the Sydney hotspot.

The couple officially confirmed their romance on social media last month after they were first spotted together kissing on a coffee date in Sydney in December.

Siwa and Ebbs began dating in December.

Siwa, who came out as gay in 2021, previously dated best friend Kylie Prew for several months in 2021, and more recently, shared a three-month relationship with Dakayla Wilson. Siwa confirmed they had split in November.

Meanwhile, Ebbs is best known for starring as Asher Nesmith in three episodes of Neighbours in 2022, playing the long-running soap’s first non-binary character.

It’s not known how they met, though Siwa visited Sydney in late November to perform at the TikTok Awards, and was seen with Ebbs days later.

A few weeks after their debut sighting, the duo spent some time in Siwa’s home country, where paparazzi photographed them walking in Toluca Lake, California.

Siwa and Ebbs looked loved up during the low-key outing, with the former child star seen kissing Ebbs on the head as they walked with their arms around one another.

A former child star who had a huge pre-teen fanbase through her work with Nickelodeon, Siwa previously revealed her career took a hit when she came out.

“The president of the network called me and was like, ‘What are we going to tell the kids?’ I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ He was like, ‘What are we going to tell kids and parents?’” Siwa revealed to Demi Lovato in Lovato’s recent Hulu documentary, Child Star.

“I was like, ‘That I’m happy? What? You want me to tell them I’m making out with a girl? I’m not going to tell them that.’”
