Margot Robbie fans are in a frenzy after a photo of the Barbie star allegedly meeting with author Sarah J Maas has begun circulating online.
First on X from user @West4thCapital, and then on Instagram on account @sjmaasupdates, the post has worked up a bit of buzz around why the pair were together.
They appear to have met for coffee on Tuesday, leading fans to wonder if it has something to do with securing the film or TV rights to Maas’ stories.
Maas is a #1 New York Times and internationally best-selling author who has written an array of female-led fantasy series, beloved by readers all over the world.
Her most famous stories are the Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses and Crescent City series, which have sold more than 38 million copies in English worldwide and are published in 38 languages.
The success and virality of Maas’ books have left fans hopeful for an on-screen telling of the stories and quick to jump to conclusions.
