HOW TO GET THERE
Sirromet is well-known for its beautiful views, sprawling grounds and exceptional wines … unfortunately getting to the vineyard is a nightmare.
A Day On the Green organisers have tried their best to avoid a traffic headache by offering a range of public transport options and parking availability.
Multiple Gold Coast shuttle buses and coach services are available through Con-x-ion Coach Charters.
Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel will be running services throughout the day and have marked pick-up points at Brisbane CBD, Garden City, Carindale Shopping Centre, Eight Mile Plains, Capalaba Park and Ride, Springwood and Logan Hyper dome.
Southern Cross Transit will be offering services to the venue from Ipswich and Springfield.
Bus and train networks to the grounds will run as normal with passengers urged to check timetables before embarking on the journey.
Parking is available onsite at Sirromet Wines for a fee of $30 per vehicle.
If concertgoers decide to carpool to the event and arrive in a vehicle with four or more ticket holders, they will not be charged for parking.
Organisers of the show have warned ticketholders that traffic build-up is likely and to exercise patience.
“With both shows being sold out, we’re trying to encourage people to get to the venue early and enjoy the afternoon’s entertainment before Robbie comes on,” organisers said in a statement.
CAN I STILL GET TICKETS
Unfortunately not, tickets for both the Saturday and Sunday night concerts are completely sold out. A handful of tickets are being sold on second-hand resale site Tixel, however potential buyers are being warned of potential scalpers.
