With Mary Fowler back in the UK, Nathan Cleary has jetted to New York to let off some steam with a close circle of friends.

The Penrith Panthers champion was spotted on the dance floor at hot nightspot Loosie’s on Friday night.

Cleary, 25, is travelling with mates including teammate Mitch Kenny and Damon McCarthy.

It comes after Fowler and Cleary finally went public with their romance when she was playing for the Matildas in Perth earlier this month.

Cleary has kept himself busy since the Panthers’s historic three-peat as he recovers from a knee injury suffered in the Grand Final win over the Brisbane Broncos.

He was also in Bali for teammate Scott Sorensen’s recent wedding.

Nathan Cleary spotted in Perth where he caught up with and watch Mary Fowler and watched the Matildas play.

Cleary is due back at training next month.

He is in New York during the off season for the UFC 295 event at Madison Square Garden, featuring the light heavyweight title bout between the Czech Republic’s Jiří Procházka and Brazilian Alex Pereira.

He also made an appearance at The Ready Rooftop Bar in the East Village over the weekend.

Aussie flyweight Steve Erceg was on the undercard of the NYC event and secured his second octagon victory.

Cleary has rich ties to the UFC. He co-owns beer company Drinkwest with two of the sport’s biggest stars, fellow Australians Tui Tuivasa and Tyson Pedro.
