Brisbane Broncos assistant coach Matt Ballin and Channel 7 sports presenter Alissa Smith have announced they are expecting their first child in November.
Ballin and Smith, who have been together for five years, took to Instagram to reveal the exciting news.
“We are both extremely excited to share that our family tree will be growing a new branch this November,” they declared in a joint-post on Instagram.
The post displayed the couple holding a baby bodysuit that said: “Baby Ballin coming soon.”
This announcement followed their star-studded wedding at Ballin’s family property near Kingaroy, west of Sunshine Coast, on October 19.
Ballin and Smith first met in 2019 at Fox Sports studios when the former NRL player joined NRL Tonight as an expert.
Smith was working as a presenter for Fox Sports at the time before she joined Channel 7.
After they tied the knot, the sport-crazed couple flew to America for their honeymoon, getting the chance to see internationally-loved teams such as the LA Lakers.
