Latest ratings: Brisbane radio wars heat up
AFTER falling behind two rival stations, one Brisbane channel has made an impressive comeback, regaining their title of most listened to FM station in the latest radio survey.

Hit 105 and Nova 106.9 are battling it out at the top of Brisbane’s radio ratings.
While Hit’s Stav, Abby and Matt retained the Brisbane breakfast radio crown, Nova 106.9 made a comeback, regaining their title of most listened to FM station, Monday to Friday, in the sixth radio survey, released this morning.
The FM station jumped a mammoth 1 point to command a 12.7 per cent audience share after a disappointing fifth survey in which they slipped behind both Hit 105 and Triple M, who dropped 0.8 points to slip back into third spot overall.
Hit 105 came in second overall with a 12.4 per cent audience share.
The two stations are also battling it out in the breakfast ratings war. Stav, Abby and Matt increased their lead at the top, jumping 0.3 points to a whopping 13.4 per cent audience share.
Nova’s Ash, Kip & Luttsy with Susie O’Neill jumped past Triple M’s The Big Breakfast with Marto, Robin & The Moonman to reclaim second spot with an 11.9 per cent audience share after the Triple M offering fell a massive 1.2 points to 11.5 per cent.
In drive Nova’s Kate, Tim and Marty furthered their lead in Brisbane with a 15.7 per cent audience share, beating out Hit 105’s Hughesy and Kate in second spot with 12.5 per cent.
ABC BRI was the best of the AM options in the breakfast slot, despite falling 0.5 points, while 4KQ was the most popular AM station overall Monday to Friday.
