BRISBANE social media influencer Lachlan Power has become the first Australian gaming youtuber to reach 10 million subscribers - in the process becoming the third biggest Australian youtuber overall.
Power, 23, announced the milestone on social media this week, triggering a wave of congratulations from gaming and youtubing heavy hitters.
Youtubers with 10 million subscribers are recognised with a diamond play button on their channel.

According to social media tracking site SocialBlade, Power at 10.07 million subscribers is third behind HowToBasic (12.6 million) and CKN Toys (10.85 million) among Australian youtubers.
But he is rapidly closing on the top spot, attracting subscribers at a rate of 15,000 to 25,000 a day. He has earned tens of thousands of dollars from nearly 60 million views in the past, er, fortnight.
Power ranks 339th globally for subscribers.

He has had a rapid rise to fame in the past year on the back of hit online game Fortnite, which is the current focus of his content on YouTube and Twitch.
Like many gaming influencers he has released his own line of branded merchandise, Power By Lachlan.
And a newly released Fortnite “skin” appears to confirm his influence in the online community.
Power will participate in a Fortnite promotional event with other high-profile gamers at the Australian Open this month.
But despite his growing presence, late last year he complained he'd been cut from YouTube's Rewind year-in-review video after being flown to the US to shoot scenes for it.
