HIT 105’s Stav, Abby and Matt has leapfrogged Nova’s Ash, Kip and Luttsy to become Brisbane’s top breakfast radio show.

In the first radio survey of the year, the breakfast trio of Stav Davidson, Abby Coleman and Matty Acton gained a mammoth 1.5 points to surge from third spot with a 12.4 per cent share of the audience.

After a dominant 2017, Nova’s Ash, Kip and Luttsy were knocked back to second place with a 12.2 per cent audience share — a dramatic slide of 1.9 points.

ABC Brisbane’s Craig Zonca also had a loss, dropping 0.6 points to hold an 11.1 per cent audience share as the third most listened to breakfast radio show in Brisbane.

97.3’s Bianca, Terry and Bob came in fourth with a 0.8 point increase to a 10.8 per cent share, followed by Triple M holding steady with 10 per cent.

In the shuffled drive show slot, Brisbane still preferred to listen to Nova’s Kate, Tim and Marty in the new year.

The popular trio jumped 0.5 points to a 15.3 per cent audience share in Brisbane.

New Hit 105 team Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek, who replaced Hamish and Andy this year, held second spot, sliding 0.5 points to 12.7 per cent.

Their replacements at 97.3, Will and Woody, followed with a considerable 1.8 point increase in Brisbane while Triple M’s Mick Molloy and Jane Kennedy were fourth with 10.6 per cent of the audience — a 0.8 point jump.
