DWTS’ Lily Cornish’s partner says chemistry with Jett Kenny ‘an act’

Model dancer Jett Kenny has spoken of his fondness for his Dancing With The Stars partner Lily Cornish and there’s been non-stop chatter about their on-air chemistry, but Cornish’s boyfriend says its all part of the act.

Model dancer Jett Kenny has spoken of his fondness for his Dancing With The Stars partner Lily Cornish and there’s been non-stop chatter about their on-air chemistry, so spare a thought for Cornish’s boyfriend.

From the moment Kenny and Cornish hit the dance floor, there have been rumours of a steamy romance.

Kenny said: “I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a spark. She’s gorgeous.”

Meanwhile however, Sunday Confidential can reveal Cornish’s long-time boyfriend Jock White has been waiting patiently in the wings.

This column tracked down Tasmanian student White on Saturday and asked if he is still dating the girl he calls his world.

“Yes we are still together,” he wrote in reply.

“ … I understand it’s just all part of the act (referring to Cornish and Kenny’s on-screen chemistry).

“Currently I’m busy with my studies so we just make the most of things when we get to see each other.”

White revealed the photogenic couple have often spent time apart during their two-year romance, but plan to pick up where things left off later this year.

“Last year we were apart most of the year but spent three months together doing environmental conservation work in the Amazon jungle which was an excellent experience, we plan to do a similar thing later this year,” he said.

“We are both passionate about making a change in this world.”

The pair’s chemistry has been noticed by the celebrities on the show as well as viewers.

Rumours of a romance between Kenny, the model son of Olympian Lisa Curry and former champion ironman Grant Kenny, and Cornish, daughter of Tasmanian newsreader Jo Cornish, began as soon as they made their Dancing With The Stars debut.

Show host Amanda Keller said: “I’d say get a room, but I think you’re in it!”
