Keep it in your pants until the show is over — that’s the advice from Dancing With The Stars judge Sharna Burgess.

After doing 12 seasons as a professional dancer on the US version of the series, the 33-year-old ballroom dancer has some words of wisdom for this year’s celebrity contestants.

“I have found in my experience, and let me lead by saying I have never hooked up with any of my partners while on Dancing With The Stars, but I have witnessed people falling for that chemistry and giving into it and then once they give into it, it either works or it doesn’t,” she told Confidential.

“My best advice is basically keep it in your pants until the end of the season if you want to keep the magic, and then you have all the time in the world to explore where you want it to go, and you’ve also just had three months of it building up, so even better.”

“At the end of the day, you have only one shot as a celebrity to do this show and you don’t want to mess it up because you got interested in some boy or some girl and then emotions got the better of you because trust me, when you get to week seven, eight, nine, 10, you’re exhausted, on edge and everything becomes personal,” she added.

And while she wouldn’t weigh in on romance whispers between the now booted Cassandra Thorburn and her dance partner, Marco, Burgess couldn’t deny the connection between Jett Kenny and his partner, Lily Cornish.

“I can vouch for Jett and Lily’s chemistry — it’s pretty electric between the two of them and gosh, they are so pretty together,” she laughed.

“In my opinion, get to the end of the season and why not? They both have so much potential in this competition so I would like to see them focus on their dance chemistry and their dancing, and explore later.”
