Liana Cornellis the spitting image of ‘70s star Delvene Delaney — which is not surprising as she’s also her daughter.
Her father is John “Strop” Cornell who, like Delaney, appeared on The Paul Hogan Show and went on to produce and co-write the Crocodile Dundee films.
Plus her godfather is Paul Hogan.
With that pedigree she might have had a walk up start in acting but she is intent on making it big in her own right in LA.
The 28-year-old stars as Aria in Foxtel’s new historical drama Britannia, which has been pegged as the new Game of Thrones.
“I don't often mention them here,” Cornell said of her parents.
“But if friends find out they're like ‘oh my god, Crocodile Dundee was the film I watched with my Dad every Christmas’.”
Liana does catch up regularly with Hoges.
“I’m so proud of him. We go out for dinner often which is really nice.”
