A young Ed Sheeran super fan snagged the famous singer’s sweaty T-shirt and guitar pick at his Brisbane concert Sunday - a night his family say he’ll never forget.

A young Queensland Ed Sheeran super fan snagged the famous singer’s sweaty T-shirt and guitar pick at one of his Brisbane concerts.

Eight-year-old Spencer Behan was spotted dancing and singing in front row seats during Sheeran’s Sunday night performance at Suncorp Stadium by security guards, who then gave him the keepsakes.

Spencer said it was the best night of his life and he rated the show a 10 out of 10.

“I’d like to thank Ed and all the bodyguards who supported me and gave me fist bumps at the end,” Spencer said.

Spencer said he has been learning to sing and is in his school’s choir.

“I learnt to sing when I first heard Ed,” Spencer said.

Spencer’s Aunty Elizabeth Claymore said she was very proud of her nephew at his first concert.

“He’s going to remember this experience for the rest of his life,” Ms Claymore said.

Ms Claymore said she initially thought the T-shirt was just normal until she felt it and it was full of sweat.

“People in the crowd were looking and were just so happy he got the shirt,” Ms Claymore said.

Spencer’s mother Annie Claymore-Behan said Ed Sheeran was Spencer’s idol.

“We have been playing Ed Sheeran to Spencer and his siblings since he was about one,” Ms Claymore-Behan said.

“It’s all very exciting for him,” Ms Claymore-Behan said.
