West is seeking joint legal and physical custody of his four children with Kardashian, as the former couple’s very public split continues to play out.

Page Six reported that the Famous rapper’s response to Kardashian’s divorce filing – which she lodged in February – is “basically a mirror image” of his estranged wife’s petition.

And TMZ reported that joint custody doesn’t necessarily mean a 50-50 split of their kids North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1.

Kardashian, 40, and West, 43, are not seeking spousal support from each other, despite the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star recently being branded a billionaire.

In addition, West wants them to be responsible for their own legal fees, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and requested their joint property and assets be divided “according to proof at time of trial or settlement.”

Previously, it was reported that Kardashian would retain ownership of the couple’s 15,000-square-foot Southern California mansion, worth $US40 million.

Page Six reported in March that the former couple are no longer on speaking terms, though they are co-parenting.

West requested that Kardashian not be at the couple’s home whenever he visits the children, and “even before Kim filed for divorce, Kanye changed his numbers and said, ‘You can contact me through my security,’” per a source.

West and Kardashian had a prenup in place, making their split “an easy case of ‘You keep your money and I’ll keep mine,’” the source added.

Page Six revealed the pair – known as “Kimye” – were divorcing in January after six years of marriage. Kim officially filed the paperwork on February 19.
