Aussie star stuns with lookalike daughter

An Aussie celeb has been spotted looking gorgeous at the airport alongside her daughter, 13, who looks just like her.

Natalie Bassingthwaighte and her teenage daughter Harper have been spotted in matching outfits, and the resemblance is uncanny.

Harper Rain, 13, and Natalie, 48, were both wearing chic ensembles of baggy pants, tight white tops, and oversized black jackets as they strolled through Sydney Airport.

The duo were seen carting their luggage through the airport and blending in with their fellow travellers.

The photos come after Harper had her first big red carpet moment when she accompanied her mum to the Chicago musical premiere in Sydney.

The event was held in Sydney’s bustling Haymarket, and the two were again dressed similarly for that event. Both wore all black and finished off their more formal looks with oversized jackets.

Of course, there were some generational differences in their styling, with Harper choosing a more comfortable shoe and nude lipstick.

Natalie embraced the classic millennial staple of popping on bright red lipstick, which looked incredible, and the star even posted about their red carpet moment online.

“What a fabulous night with my gal,” she posted on Instagram, where she has over 250,000 followers.

Harper has inherited her mum’s blonde locks and tanned complexion. Together, they are giving Reese Witherspoon and her lookalike daughter Ava a run for their doppelganger money.

Plus, the fact that they dress the same really brings out their likeness, with Harper styling herself like her mum’s mini-me.

Despite being the woman who sang Voodoo Child and starred in Neighbours, Natalie has kept her kids pretty much out of the spotlight. Harper is her eldest child, but she also has a son, Hendrix John, 11.

She co-parents them with her ex drummer Cameron McGlinchey, who she married in 2013 but separated from in 2023.

The star previously opened up to The Carousal about balancing being a mum and her big career.

She said sometimes she’s not the best at dealing with the “stress”, but she’s learnt she needs to focus on her wellness to be a better parent.

“I try to exercise every day to keep the stress levels down. I try to commit to different exercise activities each week a pilates class, a personal training session and one cardio tennis section,” she said.

“That helps me so much, to have that time to myself to energise and refocus and not stress about kids and work.”
