A BRIDE is usually finalising last-minute details in the week leading up to her big day.
But two days before Jesinta Campbell’s wedding to AFL star Lance “Buddy” Franklin, the model was trying to knock out one last photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar.
The 25-year-old appears on the cover of the December issue of the magazine, and chats exclusively about the top secret wedding.
While Jesinta looks chic and relaxed in the shoot, captured on a farm in Milton on the New South Wales South Coast, her mind was elsewhere.
“The day of the shoot I was really, really quiet because I spent the entire day going through a mental check list of what I had and hadn’t done,” Jesinta told the magazine. “‘Veil done. Tick. Flowers. Tick.’”
The high profile pair tied the knot at Wildenstein Gardens in the Blue Mountains in front of a small group of 35 family and close friends.
“Getting married was such a sacred, reverent thing, we wanted to keep it just for ourselves,” Campbell told the magazine, explaining the level of privacy around the day.
It’s reported they used aliases in the lead up to the special day and guests were told to stay off social media until midnight. After that, photos flooded social feeds and the model changed her name on social media to Jesinta Franklin.
