Her wedding to Swans star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin will undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest celebrity covert operations of recent years.

As the pair enjoy the first days of married life here in Australia before jetting off overseas on their honeymoon, details of the wedding are slowly filtering out.

The happy couple were all smiles at their lavish intimate event.

The high profile pair tied the knot at Wildenstein Gardens in the Blue Mountains in front of a small group of 35 family and close friends.

Guests were told to stay off social media until midnight, after which the happy couple shared their news that they are Mr and Mrs Franklin.

Last week Jesinta told Today Show host Lisa Wilkinson that the couple had no wedding plans.

And to avoid paparazzi, friends had fun with various location hashtags suggesting the wedding had taken place in New Zealand.

“Jes organised the entire event and kept details under wraps by using aliases,” a close friend told Confidential.

“They were both really relaxed and chilled the entire afternoon and night, the smiles never came off their faces. They danced all night and in to the late hours, it was exactly what they wanted. “Small, intimate and full of love.”

Franklin wore a Hugo Boss suit while she had two custom-made Vera Wang gowns, believed to cost more than $20,000, the couple having flown to New York for a final fitting with the international designer a few weeks ago.

“They wrote their own vows and it was pretty emotional, there wasn’t a dry eye. Everything was so sentimental,” the friend told Confidential.

The couple is understood to have been offered more than $100,000 for a magazine exclusive to their wedding but chose to keep it a private affair.

The couple are now looking forward to a well-deserves honeymoon.

“They’re not the type to sell out, it just isn’t their style. They’ve had a pretty big year and have signed of for the month now to enjoy an extended honeymoon.”

The day before her wedding, then Campbell launched the David Jones Christmas window display in the Sydney CBD.

She told Confidential she was looking forward to the day she and Buddy become parents.

“I can’t wait to have a family one day, when that is I don’t know,” she said.

“Especially at Christmas time you do think about one day sharing that with your own children and how you are going to create Christmas and make it as special for them as it was for you growing up.”

As for how many children the high-profile pair will have, she laughed: “Who knows. We will start with one and see how it goes after that.”
