Winners, speeches and highlights from the 2025 Emmy Awards
One acclaimed Netflix series has dominated the Emmys, winning every major category it was nominated in.
The 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held today in Los Angeles, with comedian Nate Bargatze hosting the bash for the first time.
And he opened the show by introducing a brutal new rule to keep the ceremony moving along at a rapid pace: He put down a large charity donation, and explained that any award winner whose speech goes longer than 45 seconds will eat into the pool of cash.
But the stunt has proved unpopular with viewers, who’ve labelled it “diabolical” and is sucking all the fun out of the show.
The Emmys aired locally on BINGE and Foxtel today at 10am AEST.
