Their stellar result put them ahead of pricey Brisbane Boys’ College (34th), Stuartholme School (32nd) The Southport School (120th) and Clayfield College (116th), who all command fees of more than $20,000 per year.

Ormiston College, with fees of $13,200 per year, were also star performers, landing eighth on the rankings of secondary schools.

St Rita’s College landed the top result of the major private schools who have fees under $10,000 per year, with their secondary NAPLAN rankings 16th overall, and ahead of schools such as Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School (29th), Nudgee College (98th), and – all which charge more than $15,000 per year.

The neighbouring Spring Hill Schools landed landing the third and second highest scores respectively in the state, just behind the selective entry state school Queensland Academy of Science Mathematic and Technology.

St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School (13th, with fees of $25,360 per year,) Anglican Church Grammar (15th, $24,784) and St Aidan’s Anglican Girls’ School (10th, $22,890), were also among the high-fee schools who landed among the top schools in secondary NAPLAN results.
