HERE’S a quick trivia quiz – which couple is odd one out?
David and Victoria “Posh” Beckham? Jamie and Jools Oliver? Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones? Tony and Christina Quinn?
Answer: The Queensland- based Quinns, who own VIP Petfoods and Darrell Lea chocolate, are not celebrities.
But they do more than match the others in fortune.

The Quinns, both 57, made one of the biggest rises on this year’s Queensland Top 150 Rich List, to be published in the Sunday Mail.
The estimated net wealth of the Gold Coast couple climbed $62 million to hit $438 million and put them at No.22 on the list.
As they were born and raised in Scotland, they also feature in The Sunday Times list of the UK’s richest couples, where they rank above the soccer star and his ex-Spice Girls wife; the chef and the Hollywood glamour couple.
Mr Quinn laughs at the news. “I couldn’t give a s--- mate,’’ he says with characteristic bluntness.
“I’m just like everyone else. I’ll be lying in a box one day. I’ll have some fun along the way, as well as a lot of bloody hard work.’’
He does, though, set his own measure of financial success: “I look at our overall situation every five years and if we have not doubled, I’m a bit tough on myself. It’s kind of a self-judgment.’’
In 20 years, the Quinns have made their VIP group the world’s biggest producer of chilled pet foods.

During the past 12 months they have pushed into the US and will build a factory in Texas in the coming year to supply 3000 stores in that state alone.
“I’m pretty sure it won’t be our last factory there,’’ Mr Quinn said. “They can’t do enough for you over there. The incentives at federal, state and local level are mind-blowing.”
The Quinns saved the iconic Darrell Lea chocolates from administration two years ago. A new factory, run by their son Klark, has doubled the capacity of the licorice lines and the firm is now making a profit.
Their latest venture is Game Over, an “indoor adventure’’ attraction including electric go-carts and laser tag, at Helensvale on the Gold Coast. Mr Quinn plans to expand to “every major town”.
