A flair for fashion has run through Megan Ziems veins since she was a young girl helping her mum lay fabric in the sewing studio after school, now the founder and creative director of Grace Loves Lace has showrooms peppered across the globe.
Zeims, 33, launched her wedding dress store online in 2010 after realising a huge gap in the market while looking to buy her own wedding dress.
Around five years ago, Ziems’ husband Wade took on the role of chief executive officer in a move that she said is a well suited match.
The couple have around 120 staff, with the majority based at the Australian headquarters in Gold Coast’s Burleigh where all the garments are made.
Ziems says customer’s value knowing their products are made locally.
