US President Joe Biden enjoyed himself this week watching Republicans attack each other in their first presidential debate over the economy, the war in Ukraine, federal abortion bans and former president Donald Trump.

All but one of the Republican candidates were of “one united, MAGA [Make America Great Again] ideology” and “extremists”, the president wrote on Twitter (X) after the debate.
