The Albanese government and the Coalition have brushed off Donald Trump’s apparent unfamiliarity with the AUKUS military pact, insisting the US president is aware of the landmark nuclear deal between Australia, America and Britain.
Trump seemed unaware of AUKUS during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Thursday (Friday morning AEDT).
