What a second Trump presidency could bring
The influential American conservative platform Project 2025 has spent two years crafting a 900-page proposal for key areas of immigration, tax and trade.
A second Trump administration would slash taxes, drop trade tariffs, cut green incentives, crack down on immigration and potentially rejig the AUKUS military pact if conservative platform Project 2025 has its way.
The platform, created within the powerful Washington-based think tank, the Heritage Foundation, and drawing on the views of 100 non-profit organisations, would also overhaul a “bloated” public service, weeding out left-leaning partisans from the 2.2 million federal employees and 20 million contractors on the books.
