US investors banned from investing in 59 Chinese companies

Washington | The United States has expanded its ban on US investment in Chinese companies that it says threaten security and human rights, adding 11 firms to a blacklist announced by former president Donald Trump last year.
President Joe Biden said threats to security and human rights by some Chinese companies were a “national emergency”, and specifically added human rights threats to Mr Trump’s initial order.
