Milwaukee | One of Donald Trump’s closest allies and potential cabinet picks if re-elected has accepted an invitation from Kevin Rudd to play tennis on the only grass court in Washington in the latest olive branch to the MAGA movement.

Vivek Ramaswamy, once a nationally ranked junior tennis player and a ball boy for Lleyton Hewitt, Pat Rafter and Mark Philippoussis, told The Australian Financial Review at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee that he would gladly accept a hit of tennis on the ambassador’s private court, rehabilitated under former ambassador Joe Hockey.
