Modi draws CEOs, tech titans to White House dinner
Washington | Silicon Valley’s biggest names descended on Washington on Thursday (Friday AEST) as President Joe Biden sought to strengthen tech industry ties between the United States and India at a state dinner honouring Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Corporate executives attending the White House event included Apple boss Tim Cook, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella. They were joined by celebrities including Billie Jean King and Ralph Lauren at the third state dinner of Mr Biden’s presidency.
