Washington | A Trump supporter seen beating a policeman on the ground with a US flag during the Capitol riots also called officers "traitors" and said they should be killed, newly released video footage from the London Daily Telegraph can reveal.
In clips taken minutes after the alleged assault, the man now being sought by detectives went on a heated rant against police defending the building. In a hate-filled diatribe filmed by the Telegraph, he said: "Everybody in there is a treasonous traitor. [For] every single one of those capitol law enforcement officers, death is the remedy."
