Infrastructure win provides late, temporary relief for Biden
After last week’s electoral defeat in Virginia, the US President made the sign of the cross and laughed after finally winning support for a $1.6 trillion infrastructure package.
Washington| US President Joe Biden had had enough.
After having little to announce at the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, Biden returned to Washington last Wednesday to an embarrassing defeat to the Republicans in a gubernatorial election in the nearby state of Virginia.
