Washington | US President Joe Biden arrived back from his two-week holiday with a sweet surprise. The president will use his executive power to cancel billions of dollars in student debt. ”It’s a game changer,” he said this week.

The game has also changed for Biden in the last month, with the president enjoying a 3 percentage point gain in the polls. His party is now favourite to retain control of the Senate in November and to stem what were expected to be heavy losses in the House.
