Washington | With one-in-three Democrats now saying that Joe Biden should not be their presidential nominee for the November election following last week’s disastrous debate against Republican Donald Trump, questions are being raised as to just how he might be switched out.

Throughout history, death is the most common way a president leaves office before the end of his term, followed by resignation – either during a term, as with Richard Nixon, or at the end, as was the case with Lyndon Johnson.
