For Kamala Harris, just being ‘presidential’ might be enough

The fight for voters is less about a revolution than the vice president presenting herself as a viable alternative to Trump and as a safe pair of hands for the country.

Eric Schrager was one of the 36 Democrat delegates out of 4700 that could not bring himself to vote for the party’s presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, at its convention in Chicago this week.

He believes that Harris, who is leading rival Donald Trump in the polls and likely to get a further bounce following a supercharged convention, needs to change the foreign policy that she and Biden have stuck to over the last 3½ years.
