Facebook, Twitter CEOs confronted over speech rules
Washington | Top US senators challenged the chief executive officers of Facebook and Twitter, renewing accusations that the companies are failing to moderate online speech and showing bipartisan support for changing a law that protects them from lawsuits.
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter's Jack Dorsey appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) to answer questions about content moderation and their role in political discourse.
