Washington | John Bolton has warned that China's ability to spy through Huawei's 5G network is as dangerous for businesses and individual citizens as it is for governments.

Speaking as a stoush between Canberra and Beijing escalates over a surge of cyber attacks blamed on China, Donald Trump's former national security adviser commended the early actions of Australia and New Zealand in banning the company from building next-generation broadband networks because of security concerns.
