Joe Biden said Tuesday (Wednesday AEST) that he will make a decision on his running mate by the end of the first week in August, adding at most a week to his initial self-imposed deadline of August 1 for determining his campaign partner.
"I'm going to have a choice in the first week in August," he said Tuesday, "and I promise I'll let you know when I do."
