Washington | President Joe Biden said the United States and New Zealand must work closer in the Pacific to counter China’s rising influence, following talks with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in the White House on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST).
In their hour-long meeting, Mr Biden praised Ms Ardern’s leadership on global issues such as climate change and said he wanted to work with her on gun control.
