Sante Fe | Two-time Oscar winner Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, had been dead for some time before neighbourhood security discovered their bodies at the couple’s home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, law enforcement officers have revealed.
A worker had arrived at the home to perform maintenance on the residence and became concerned after receiving no answer, the local sheriff’s office said in a statement. The worker then contacted neighbourhood security to conduct a welfare check.
