New York | Donald Trump asked a judge to let a neutral third party review documents seized by the FBI during the search of the former president’s estate and to order the Justice Department to return materials not covered by a warrant.
The request for a so-called “special master” to review the documents was made in a lawsuit Mr Trump filed in a Florida federal court, where a judge in a separate case is considering whether to unseal portions of an FBI affidavit made in support of the search warrant.
