Ukrainians are hardly dancing in the streets, but they are imbued with a fresh sense of hope that the war with Russia might end soon.

Buoyed by a renewed surge in weapons support from Europe and a hardening White House stance towards Moscow, the mood across the war-ravaged country is more upbeat than at any point since Vladimir Putin began his all-out invasion in early 2022.
