It was quite the catalogue of crassness with which Luis Rubiales marked his country’s World Cup celebrations.

Not content with theatrically grabbing his crotch alongside Queen Letizia and her 16-year-old daughter or kissing Spain’s Jennifer Hermoso on the lips, the head of the national federation leant in for another kiss with match-winner Olga Carmona while declaring later in the dressing room he would marry Hermoso in Ibiza.
