‘Sad day for tennis’: Players slam Sinner’s three-month doping ban

London | World No.1 Jannik Sinner has accepted an immediate three-month doping ban after the World Anti-Doping Agency said it had reached a settlement on his period of ineligibility, allowing him to return before the French Open in May.

Fellow top players immediately slammed the decision as outrageous and lenient while the association representing all players said it showed the process of punishing those on tour for positive tests lacked consistency, transparency and credibility.
