London | Sir Paul McCartney’s missing bass guitar was stolen from a van in Notting Hill, west London, investigators have learnt as they move closer to solving a mystery spanning more than 50 years.
A global search was launched earlier this month by Hofner, makers of the 500/1 electric bass, after Sir Paul told the company that he dreamed of being reunited with it.
