Glencore names Gary Nagle as successor to Ivan Glasenberg

London | Glencore named the head of its coal business, Gary Nagle, to take over as chief executive officer next year, when billionaire Ivan Glasenberg retires after almost two decades running the world's biggest commodity trader.
Mr Nagle has spent the past two years based in Sydney running Glencore’s coal business. He is well known in Canberra as a director of the Minerals Council of Australia.
