Brussels | EU member states have agreed to grant Britain a three-month flexible delay on its departure from the European Union, European Council President Donald Tusk has tweeted.
Envoys representing the 27 remaining European Union members states agreed to the request which will see the UK leave on January 31, EU Council President Tusk said on Twitter. The bloc's decision will be formalised "through a written procedure," Tusk said, meaning that there will be no leaders' summit.
