Death toll mounts in Central Europe floods

Warsaw | Exceptionally heavy rainfall in Central Europe has caused deadly flooding in the region, with eight more deaths reported this week.
The flooding swamped parts of Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania as a low-pressure system crossed the region and unleashed record-high rain for days. It was expected to affect Slovakia and Hungary later in the week.
