Brussels | The Albanese government is looking to use its burgeoning relationship with NATO to drive more business for Australia’s defence industry, capitalising on a European scramble to reboot the continent’s arms manufacturers and tool up Ukraine.
The 32-country military alliance is looking for every avenue to bolster production and restock rapidly dwindling supplies of weapons and ammunition, as they try to rebalance Russia’s dominance over Ukraine and Europe in producing and using artillery shells.
