Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has repeated his offer to consider Australia contributing to a peace-keeping effort in Ukraine, after joining a Keir Starmer-led video summit with other Western allies.
The British prime minister said on Saturday (Sunday AEDT) that Western allies other than the US were stepping up preparations to support Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire with Russia, with defence chiefs set to firm up “robust plans” next week.
