Today the President came to my vaccination
The Indonesian government is in a race against time to get 181 million safe from the clutches of COVID-19. Today it was my turn.
Natalia SantiJakarta | Today is vaccination day and I’m one of the lucky ones – lucky to be in a profession President Joko Widodo has ruled should be near the front of the queue and fortunate to be one of the journalists selected from the many more who put their hand up for the free service.
The jab itself was unremarkable, much like any other injection you might have received. It was nearly, but not quite, painless – like an ant bite I thought – and over almost before it began.
